Flash & Flash/XML Websites
Adobe Flash sites are graphically-driven websites with animations, advanced rollover effects, sounds, exciting page transition, etc. Flash websites allow for a level of aesthetic innovation unnatainable by standard websites. Flash movies can comprise the entire website, or enhance a static site when embedded within a page.

Flash websites are the most advanced interfaces available in web design today. A stylish layout, in addition to stunning transitions and effects are sure to leave a memorable impression on every viewer. Flash interfaces work best for compact sites with under 8 distinct sections. However, expanded Flash sites are also possible, using the latest XML/Flash technologies. Flash interfaces are ideal for showcasing portfolios, including photography, art, graphic design, and more.

Should I get a Flash or CSS Website?

Flash sites create an advanced and impressive interface that really "wow's" your viewers. So why wouldn't everyone use Flash then? Well, there are a few things to consider when deciding between a Flash or CSS website, such as your target audience, and your internet marketing plan. Flash and CSS sites use different technologies, and each has its own benefits and disadvantages in terms of SEO and user compatibility. We can help you determine if a Flash site or a CSS site is the best choice for you, based on your online goals.

The Latest Evolution in Flash Design: Flash/XML or Flex Websites

The latest Flash technology is compatible with XML (extensible markup language), allowing for a more user-friendly Flash experience. Flash/XML websites work like regular Flash websites, except that all content is read in from an external XML document, instead of being created and rendered graphically. This makes your Flash website much smaller in file size than a 100% Flash site, so it loads quicker and runs smoother on slower internet connections, and thus reaches a larger audience.

What's the Difference Between a Stock Flash Website and Standard Flash Website?

Stock Flash sites are a great way to get a cutting-edge internet presence, without breaking the bank. We offer stock Flash sites at a great discount because they are resold as template sites to various application resellers. Non-stock Flash sites, or standard Flash sites, are unique and never duplicated, but cost a bit more. We design either option with the same quality and attention to detail, ensuring a cutting-edge finished product. We're happy to discuss the options in more detail and help you decide which would work best for your individual needs.

Custom Site Design

Includes color palette, graphic art, page layout, global navigation, content organization, and imagery. Can be based on corporate branding or identity, or completely custom and original.

Identity Integration

If applicable, we'll integrate your corporate branding, including colors, logo, slogan, etc. If you do not have a logo, we use stylized fonts to display your name or company name. Or, you may be interested in having us design your logo as well.

Royalty-Free Imagery

Often times, royalty free photos and imagery can enhance your website by adding aesthetics and a professional appearance. Royalty-free photos work great for flash header images, and background images when professional photography is not available.

5+ Informational Pages

Our base price includes up to 8 informational pages. Informational pages can be considered "static", in that they are not interactive pages, such as form pages, gallery pages, etc. Examples would be "Home", "About", "Services" etc.

Flash Transition, Sound FX, Sound Loops, and more

Flash websites have all the bells and whistles. Each "section" can have animated transitions, fades, and more. Rollover buttons can have animations, and sound effects. The site as a whole can include an mp3 player or "juke box", playing your personal selections.

So what's with all the birds, anyway?
Well, they stem from our company name. Jessica Miller, our founder and lead designer, chose the name Corvus as an homage to her favorite types of birds (those of the genus Corvus). Jessica gets a lot of her inspiration from nature, particularly wildlife, and wanted to incorporate her love of nature into her business life. This often shows in her design style, which has been described as "organic" and "ethereal".
