Founded by the accomplished Dr. Neil A. Shah, MD, FAAD, Clarus Dermatology provides the highest quality medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services in St. Anthony, Minnesota. Dr. Shah also serves as Medical Dirctor of Clarus, and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Shah hired us to design Clarus Dermatology’s branding and corporate identity, website, and various print items. For Clarus’s branding, our goal was to reflect the practice’s focus on providing the highest quality medical services. For a more modern feel, we went with a bold, bright blue and crisp white palette, with light and dark grays as accent colors.
For all of the design elements, we chose photography with great care. We wanted lots of fresh faces in a range of life stages, but really wanted to avoid using that same “generic diversity” group photo found so often in medical, educational, and government collateral. In many instances, we overlaid a bright blue hue to saturate the photo and take focus away from race and gender.
The website provides extensive medical dermatology information and useful patient tools such as online bill pay, a Virtual Acne Program, online sign up forms, portfolio with before and after photos, interactive educational slideshows, and more.
Over the years, Clarus Dermatology has come back to us for their ongoing design needs, including seasonal posters, permanent advertisement posters, medical brochures, clinical banners, and magazine ads.
For the website, we also provided in-depth SEO and social media follower augmentation, as well as photo editing for both the website and collateral items.
